Who we are

Nafhet Amal is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting vulnerable individuals and families through healthcare, education, and humanitarian assistance.

Guided by compassion and dignity and under the leadership of Father Simon Abboud, we work to ensure that no one is left behind, especially during times of hardship, particularly the elderly, patients, and families facing economic hardship.

As a U.S. chapter aligned with Nafhet Amal’s established work in Lebanon, we mobilize resources, raise awareness, and facilitate support from the United States, with funding directed toward impactful programs serving communities in need. Through community partnerships and meaningful action, we strive to bring hope where it is needed most.

Nafhet Amal is a tax-exempt organization registered in the State of Rhode Island. Our Board of Directors includes Nancy Assi, Raymond Laoulache, and Samia Saliba Sleiman.

Father Simon Abboud

Nafhet Amal was founded under the leadership of Father Simon Abboud, whose commitment to service, compassion, and community care is at the heart of the organization’s mission.

Guided by a deep sense of responsibility to uplift those in need, Father Simon has dedicated his work to supporting vulnerable individuals and families. His leadership emphasizes dignity, faith, and action, ensuring that care is delivered with both compassion and purpose.

Through Nafhet Amal, Father Simon continues to foster a culture of service rooted in hope, solidarity, and meaningful impact.
